Harima Plant / Sakai Plant

Residents and customers are becoming increasingly aware of environmental issues, and environmental laws and regulations are being improved and strengthened. We believe that responding to environmental issues is essential to our business activities and responsibility as a business operator. Based on this recognition, the Harima Plant obtained ISO 14001 certification, an international standard for environmental management systems. After an audit by the Japan Quality Assurance Organization (JQA), the environmental management system and operation of the Harima Plant has been recognized as complying with the international standard ISO 14001, and it received the certification on October 24, 2003. In addition, the scope of application of the management system was expanded to the Sakai Plant in October 2018.
