Against a background
of constantly improved performance and reduced size of electronics products,
fine chemical products are applied across a broad spectrum of business sectors,
and the market for these products is expected to expand. Nagase ChemiteX
has leveraged its synthesizing technologies nurtured in organic chemistry
and applied them to the development of liquid crystals and near-infrared
absorptive material, and we already have demonstrated success in numerous
fields. For instance, we have developed near-infrared absorptive material
as CD-R recording dyes for information recording media. Yet another groundbreaking
project has been the development of ferroelectric liquid crystals. We intend
to redouble our research and development efforts and contribute to the continued
growth of the electronics industry. |
